Provides project management through proposal development, project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout. Works with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address local issues and support the development of proposals and project implementation to secure external funding and other resources for addressing critical water issues in Texas.· Supports program development by defining proposal timelines, summarizing outlines of solicitations, reviewing internal requirements, and ensuring all are met prior to submission.· Reviews proposal scope of work, budgets, and other required proposal materials, including subcontractor documents, for accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to submission.· Post-award, oversees contract review process and project initiation. Develops project work plans and project documents including relevant templates, standard operating procedures, compliance requirements, communications plans, progress reports, stakeholder engagement plans, asset procurement, and risk management.· Coordinates ongoing project activities, collaborates with project team members, and assist in the development of measurable project goals, objectives, and deliverables.· Assists with the planning, developing, implementation, and evaluation across all TWRI programs. Monitors project budgets, budget and contract revisions, financial projections, and other project needs and concerns.· Monitors deliverable progress and tracks project outputs for quality and completeness. · Prepares and executes agendas for meetings to ensure efficient use of time, documents action items, and collaborates with team members to execute project work. · Develops the tools and techniques for the organization structure of proposals and projects digital files.· Maintains TWRI's pending proposals and active projects lists providing ad hoc, monthly, and annual reports.· Serves as a liaison between TWRI staff and TAMU Sponsored Research Services (SRS).

Collaborating with federal, state, and local stakeholders to protect water resources, including:• Facilitating working groups to identify and prioritize local water quality restoration issues and activities• Gathering and analyzing watershed-based data to establish a needed understanding of current watershed conditions to convey to stakeholders, including conventional, field, and lab reports and spatial data• Developing grant proposals and securing funding to implement projects identified in watershed protection plans (WPPs)• Managing project implementation progress and success including tracking deliverables and budgets• Engaging and sustaining stakeholder groups through the delivery of educational materials and programming• Preparing educational resources including factsheets, PowerPoint slide decks, watershed web pages, social media, videos, newsletters and press releases, and related materials • Working with TAMUS administration, faculty, research, and Extension personnel, federal and state agencies, non-profit organizations, personnel with other universities, centers, and institutes, and other partnerships to plan and develop projects and grant proposals to address critical water issues• Supporting field data collection team as needed in routine and stormwater collection events, data management, and equipment operation and maintenance

Assisted Dr. Josh Brokaw of the Abilene Christian University Biology Department with a bioremediation project assessing the damage caused by an oil spill in Oklahoma tall grass prairie, and its effect on the soil and native grasses there. Specialized in the gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer analysis of the distillates that were rinsed from soil samples via soxhlet extraction using cyclohexane. Used GC/MS to determine concentration of trace hydrocarbons present in the soil after varying rehabilitation attempts on different parts of the affected area. My partner and I presented this research at Texas Academy of Science Undergraduate Research Festival and the Abilene Christian University Undergraduate Research Festival.
