- Process orders on the college’s FMS finance system, ensuring sufficient funds are available and that orders have been properly authorized. - Each month liaise with budget holders and suppliers regarding outstanding orders. - Receive and process cash and other forms of income, ensuring receipts are issued in a timely manner and accurate records are maintained. Prepare all income for banking. - Support budget holders by contacting suppliers with issues around inaccurate/incomplete deliveries or receipt of damaged items. - Liaise with trip leaders over the collection of income, ensuring receipts are given when income is received. - Administer the school fund including the processing of all payments and income. - Carry out the necessary arrangements with regard to school lettings, and collection of payments. - Liaise with other staff on financial aspects of their work. - Provide reports as required by the Finance Officer. - Liaise with finance staff at Medina College as necessary, providing support as directed by the Finance Officer. - Support the Finance Officer with all aspects of the finance operation, and have knowledge of the processes for the Petty Cash account and payment of invoices. - Contribute to the maintenance of the school’s ethos by expecting high standards from all of the students in both lessons and social times - Ensure all duties and responsibilities are discharged in accordance with the school’s health and safety at work policy. - Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people you are responsible for or come into contact with. - Participate in the school’s performance management scheme, ensuring that performance standards and targets are set and met within the agreed timescale.
