Since graduating from Hofstra Law School in 1994, I have had the privilege of representing the unfortunate, first as an Associate and then as a Partner at Simonson Hess Leibowitz & Goodman, P.C. On July 1, 2014 I started a new firm, Simonson Goodman Platzer PC. During my career I have achieved numerous million dollar verdicts on behalf of my clients’ personal injury and medical malpractice cases throughout New York and New Jersey. I have represented clients from as far south as Camden, New Jersey, and as far north as Buffalo, New York. I had the third highest medical malpractice verdict in the entire State of New York in 2010, an award of nearly $8 Million for failure to monitor a patient’s death due to spike of glucose. In addition, I have written and argued numerous appeals before the Appellate Division of the State of New York.U.S. News and World Report recognized my contributions to the legal profession. I have been voted “Best Lawyer in America – New York” in personal injury from 2013 to 2021. I have also achieved the “Super Lawyer” designation from 2011 to 2021.
