Managing department with complete production cycle, including:Product managementPresaleR&DQAHW platform designExpert implementation and 3rd line technical support.Major department products are: SMSC,.MMSC, CRBT, IVR, VoiceMail.At this position I had wide range of tasks, including budget planning and control, product development (elaborating product road maps, preparing marketing materials, performing presentations), operation management, project supervising, process and technology improvements, partners and key customer relations (negotiations, contracts supervising), technical expertise in SMSC.I had ability to act as a general manager and to go deep to specialist roles. For example I set up requirements management process in the department and I prepared software requirements specification for a new product by myself giving example for a team.

Being a part of VAS R&D this department was responsible for developing a platform for all VAS products. This platform includes routine functions like transport subsystem for distributed applications, redundancy management, statistical data gathering and processing, telco HW drivers etc.At this position I worked on following tasks:I actively participated in conceptual platform design with later detailed subsystem design.I designed new version of SMSC and MMSC architecture. Key features of new architecture were modularity and scalability with distributed load sharing and redundancy.I managed SMSC and MMSC development projects and participated in setting up project management in VAS R&D.
