Mechanical Design Engineer (Adas)

Focused on DFM for injection molding and DFA, performed wall thickness and draft analysis- Gathered and negotiated design constraints and geometry changes. Discussed current progress in meetings with teams and suppliers while communicating in English - Coordinated the freezing of bracket geometry for different project milestones and managed the addition and validation of grain texture to the brackets and parts marking- Identified major design issues with existing bracket screws and mounting surfaces of surrounding parts. Performed screw joint calculations and proposed changes that were accepted by my manager- Reviewed Design Verification Test Plans and DFMEA. Found errors in tests as well as important requirements from Technical Specifications that were not reflected in tests. Collaborated with the QA team and supplier to resolve these issues- Designed compartments, brackets, assembly fixtures, and jigs for sensors for the ADAS test fleet (Toyota vehicles) using sheet metal and 3D printed parts. Performed 3D scanning and created a 3D scanning guide in Confluence that was used by several engineering teams- Prototyped parts using SLA/DLP and FDM 3D printing. Fabricated and assembled parts in the workshop using bench tools- Developed ISO fabrication drawings in English for mass production. Assigned GD&T and performed tolerance stack-up analysis- Identified non-conformities with internal drafting standards to ISO 128, negatively impacting drawing quality and the company's reputation. Proposed changes that were accepted by the drawing validation team- Applied agile methodologies in the workflow by maintaining epics, planning and tracking current tasks in Jira
