Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering at Virginia Tech, with an expected graduation in May 2025. With a strong academic background and hands-on experience, I have a deep-rooted passion for aviation and engineering, which has driven me to continuously challenge myself and develop both technically and professionally.Starting with a 4.0 GPA from Freeman High School and an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Reynolds Community College with a 3.6 GPA, I have consistently demonstrated excellence in academics. My time at Reynolds gave me the opportunity to work on innovative projects, including weather sensors, UAV airplanes, and gaming chairs, where I utilized various engineering software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, MATLAB, and Python.At Virginia Tech, I am heavily involved in the Design Build Fly and CanSat Engineering teams. These experiences have allowed me to further hone my skills in CAD design, aerodynamics, flight software, PCB design, and RTOS, all while working collaboratively with diverse teams to build high-performing aircraft. My leadership extends beyond academics; I have been serving as a Youth Leader and Project Coordinator at my church, where I manage community outreach, educational projects, and a dynamic Sunday school program for high school students.I am also currently working as an Engineering Assistant at Moog, where I collaborate with quality and design engineers to develop custom test equipment, troubleshoot issues, and improve testing stations. This role has sharpened my problem-solving abilities and exposed me to the real-world applications of engineering principles.With a versatile skill set ranging from leadership and communication to technical proficiencies in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Microsoft Excel, and MATLAB, I am excited to contribute to the aerospace industry. My journey is characterized by a commitment to continuous learning, innovative thinking, and a passion for advancing sustainable aviation technologies.
