Lillstreet Art Center provides arts programming, studio space, and an arts community for students of all ages and professional artists. Over 2,000 campers and 80 staff members participate in Lillstreet's camp program every summer.As Assistant Director of Lillstreet's Summer Camp, my responsibilities included:• Designing and conducting a major evaluation of Lillstreet's summer camp through parent, teacher, and camper surveys• Reporting major findings and recommendations for improving camp to Lillstreet's owner and the Camp Director• Creating materials and programming to support the 80+ camp staff (namely: the camp handbook, the orientation session programming, a resource to support teachers in classroom management, and an extensive library of art lesson plans)• Supporting the Camp Director in camp planning and in daily camp operations

The Bok Center seeks to improve learning and teaching at Harvard by supporting and training faculty. As a Media Fellow, my responsibilities included: • Producing media resources to support Harvard's faculty in teaching through multimodal assignments and learning activities• Conducting user testing, focus groups, and formative evaluations with college students to gather feedback on assignment designs• Helping to launch the Learning Lab, an initiative designed to support innovations in learning and teaching at Harvard College

FableVision Learning is an educational publishing and technology company whose mission is to help students develop their capacities for creativity, communication, collaboration, critical thinking and compassion. As a Research Associate, my responsibilities included:• Designing and implementing a formative evaluation of Fab@School, an educational software product meant to engage middle school students in STEAM thinking• Conducting user testing, identifying design improvements, and presenting findings to stakeholders• Writing STEAM-based lesson plans and activities to accompany software

As a tutor, I built a client base of middle school, high school, college, and adult learners and worked with each student one to five times each week. I developed and delivered individualized lessons in foundational writing, math, and study skills.

Serving more than 400,000 visitors annually, Chicago Children's Museum is the second most visited children's museum in the country. The museum's mission is to improve children's lives by creating a community where play and learning connect. As an Exhibit Development Intern, my responsibilities included:• Designing and implementing evaluations of two new exhibits and providing museum staff with data on visitors'​ experiences and on the efficacy of museum's marketing campaign• Preparing and delivering written reports and presentations of aforementioned data to museum staff• Assisting with concept development for future exhibits

Julie Herr & Associates is a developmental therapy clinic serving young children and their families. As an Assistant Therapeutic Practitioner, my responsibilities included:• Developing curriculum and team-teaching in the clinic's transitional school program and social-skills groups for children with developmental disabilities• Planning and co-running the clinic's therapeutic summer camp for five summers• As a classroom aide, assisting children in understanding and following instructions, sequencing ideas, and communicating purposefully and effectively with their peers• Developing several hundred visual aids to support the comprehension, communication skills, and emotional regulation of children with language processing difficulties• Designing and maintaining clinic's website

As a reading tutor, I tutored homeless elementary school students in the Reading Recovery Program. I created and delivered individualized lesson plans emphasizing reading comprehension skills.

Erikson Institute is a graduate school focused exclusively on early childhood development. As a Research Assistant at Erikson's Herr Research Center for Children & Social Policy, I edited the book, We Are All Explorers: Learning and Teaching with Reggio Principles in Urban Settings (published: 2008, New York: Teachers College Press).
