Responsible for underwriting conventional consumer loans through analyzing historical property cash flow, guarantor’s financials, and loan collateral to comply with bank polices. Manage on-going communication with all appropriate parties on the status of transactions.

Responsible for the review of complex home loan applications, responsible for making all credit decisions for loan approvals and loan denials. Worked closely with Processing and Closing departments. Functions also included communication with loan officers, appraisers, and all other counterparties. Aided with preparing Closing Disclosures for settlement. Used an automated scoring system along with traditional underwriting to determine actability of moderated requests. Communicated with customers and partners to gather information to make appropriate decisions, explained rationale behind decisions and promoted line products. Stayed up to date of changes in underwriting provisions. Possessed a Servicing Delegation of Decisioning Authority Level B – FHA Investor.
