Construction 132 KV & 380 KV Substations & Power Generation Plants and its Revamping & MEGA Energy and Industrial Projects - Handling of EHV SS & HV Cables Systems & OHTL Turnkey Projects – from system, planning and engineering to final installation, testing, commissioning, start up and post project maintenance. Post order to final commissioning and getting taking over certificate. Coordination with sub-contractors and agencies involved in the projects. Meeting Project Milestones – completion• Coordination with customer, authorities and agencies for necessary clearances and work permits required, if any.• Planning for resources for site activities – within in-house resources or through subcontracting.• Selection of subcontractors, finalization of scopes and prices, and freezing the scope (if needed) in consultation with Contracts & Procurement Dept. and Operation Manager.• Coordination with customers and subcontractors and ensure smooth execution of projects.• Maintaining highest standard levels for quality and safety and Making sure that they are strictly followed at site without any deviation to ensure customer satisfaction and company image.• Making a bar chart of all activities with time schedule till final project execution.• Follow up with manufacturing for timely delivery and coordinate for inspection, logistics, and after sales service (if needed) accordingly.• Set up site and arranging resources for each site activity such as cables unloading, making trenches, cable laying and making of joints and terminations.• Supervising all the site activities and coordination with customers and subcontractors.•Raising progressive invoices on time and follow up till collection.• Successful and timely execution of projects• Coaching, Training and motivating site engineers and preparing them for handling the job independently.• Leading and strong personality able to lead/ guide and support working group up to 400 persons in different designations.

Responsibilities :- 1- Over all Responsible for department budgeting and targets .Reporting to General Manager ThyssenKrupp Xervon Saudi Arabia. 2- Building up the turnkey projects including the erection and its Power Services like Testing and maintenance. 3- Development of transformer maintenance workshop for repair and overhauling. 4- The responsibilities include recruiting the Man power resources and Technical Expertise for the SS and Plants Erection and Power Services Field. 5- Monthly and Yearly Progress and Production reporting to the General Manager. 6- Propose Plan and arrange Safety and technical trainings for Field engineers and staff. 7- Quotation Formation, Price calculation and order finalization of services especially in the erection and testing and commissioning of SS up to 132 KV- Transformer Works and testing and commissioning works. 8- Participation in all kind of tenders like Maintenance & Construction & Retrofitting …..etc relevant to the High Tension works. 9- Correspondence and clarification with customers.

1. Manages projects and coordinates with the Planning Engineer for the overall planning (work program, work schedule, histograms, material delivery schedule) of the project activities; defines the scope and implements project plans in accordance with the client’s needs as early as pre-selling activities, through proposal scoping and project start-up, execution and completion. 2. Advises on tenders, project budgets, contracts and cost estimates. 3. Provides hands on project management and actively manages the project plan, deliverables, dependencies, and outcomes for selected project(s) as approved by senior management and key stakeholders to ensure that the project goals and objectives are achieved within the project timeframe and guidelines established by the relevant stakeholders and management committees. 4. Prepare communication plans and related project status reports to key stakeholders and governance bodies (as appropriate) to provide project updates on activities and deliverables, as well as risks and mitigation strategies. 5. Defines and manages overall change control processes and quality assurance aspects of the project to ensure project success 6. Defines and manages overall project risk identification and mitigation processes through interaction with project constituents and stakeholders; identifies all project barriers on a timely basis and identifies strategies and approaches to overcome these barriers; 7. Consults and negotiates with clients and consultants on issues/ concerns that might arise as needed on projects; liaises on all contractual matters related to the project with the Division Head and ensures the Company’s rights and entitlements are recorded and notified to the client/ consultant as appropriate and in accordance with the contract terms and conditions.

• Capable of revising design and shop drawings , bill of quantities and design calculations for generators , power transformers , short circuit , voltage drop , internal / external lighting , sizing of cables / conduits / cable tray , grounding & lighting protection system and Elevators. • Retrofit and complete rehabilitation of the electrical systems.• Familiar with the following electrical norms and standards SASCO , IEC , NEC , NFPA .• Ensuring successful implementation of the project within the contracted time frame schedule and contract obligations, through supervising all electrical activities.• Reviewing all electrical, control drawings for ratings, technical features in accordance with the technical specifications of the contract.• Ensuing installation of all equipment is carried out according to the approved drawings and report deficiencies on erection to the contractor.• Participating in signal test / HV tests as per the mutually agreed quality assurance plans as well as commissioning, normal operation and performance guarantee test.• Ensuring adequate manpower / materials availability throughout the contractor in order to meet the deadlines.• Supervising the energisation of electrical equipment.• Coordinating with utility authorities to establish a power supply and organizing test procedures prior to its installation at the site.• Dealing and finalizing the offers with the Equipments Vendors , outdoors and indoors Suppliers.• Participate in the inspection of equipment during the manufacturing.• Participate in preparing the project monthly progress report

Develop electrical design, schematics and drawings in AutoCAD • Interpret mechanical design drawings for electrical requirements (e.g. SolidWorks) • Research supplier products for assembly components and Main Equipment • Help establish new and maintain existing standards • Develop electrical bill of materials and Main Equipment • Power up electrical systems and configure hardware per application specifications • Check quality of assemblers and technicians work and respond to inquiries during assembly • Work with Sales Engineers to provide input with quote preparation as requiredComply with the company safety procedures.
