I completed my Masters in comparative public policy at the University of Edinburgh in 2019. I am the Business Operations Coordinator at Multi-Cultural Family Base, and am also communications coordinator for the Migration Health and Development Research Initiative (MHADRI).My research and humanitarian interests have to do with refugees and displacement. My graduate thesis was on Burkinabe migrants and their access to healthcare in Côte d'Ivoire. I wrote my undergraduate senior thesis on art created within displacement; how refugees and other displaced peoples find agency through telling their stories.I also run my own art business under the name Amaranthine Goods, which focuses on paper art. We helped them figure out what they needed to do and checked up on them almost daily to make sure they were fulfilling the requirements of the program. Responsibilities also included writing reports of the visits and whatever documents needed to be created.
