Led the founding team through two rounds of financing, raising $5M to fund the Eons spin-off and incorporate into an independent entity. Reporting to the Tributes Board of Directors, was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company and driving business, sales, marketing and product strategies to achieve forecasted performance goals. Within the first few years of the company’s incorporation and the official launch of Tributes.com in the fall of 2008 the Company achieved break-even status generating $2-3M in revenue per year. By 2015, 6M consumers and thousands of funeral homes were relying on the Tributes brand each month to locate and publish obituary news, and 150 television & radio stations across the U.S. featured localized and customized obituary sections on their websites powered by Tributes.com. The company was successfully sold to its largest competitor, Legacy.com, in the spring of 2015.
