During my senior year of high school, I had the privilege of being chosen for the prestigious Engineering The Next Generation internship program. This program provided me with an incredible opportunity to receive mentorship from Professor Karen E. Kasza and actively participate in her groundbreaking research at the "Kasza Living Materials Laboratory." During my time in the lab, I conducted research on Fruit Flies , focusing on their myosin components, which added a fascinating dimension to my learning experience.

I was part of the Columbia Engineering-Supervised Science and Technology Club. During my time at the club, I have had the opportunity to learn about computer hardware, software design, and effective communication and presentation. In that club, I learn to collaborate with other high school students from the New York City area.

In my role as a Tax Consultant Intern, I actively contributed to the team by assisting senior tax consultants in the meticulous task of data input into our software systems. This hands-on experience allowed me to work closely with seasoned professionals who mentored me in understanding the nuances of different business types. Through this mentorship, I acquired a deep comprehension of crucial tax and accounting terminology, enriching my expertise in the field.

As an Accounting Bookkeeper at ATAX Franchises, my role was pivotal in maintaining the integrity and security of crucial tax documents. I ensured the utmost privacy and confidentiality by meticulously converting physical copies into our software systems, streamlining data management for increased efficiency. Additionally, I organized customer files with meticulous care, making it effortless to access them in the future. My commitment to data security and organization played a vital role in optimizing our accounting processes and ensuring client trust.

As a Front Desk Receptionist at ATAX Franchise, I thrived in a dynamic, multicultural environment. My core responsibilities included providing proficient bilingual communication in Spanish, Bengali, and English, ensuring all clients felt welcome and understood. Additionally, I skillfully managed appointment scheduling, optimizing efficiency and enhancing the overall customer experience. This role allowed me to excel in client service and organizational proficiency while contributing to the company's success.

As a chemistry enthusiast, I was lucky and grateful for my opportunity to intern as part of Project SEED by the American Chemical Society. There, I had the opportunity to have an undergraduate mentor from Brown University. I was learning about different opportunities in the field of chemical engineering as well as connecting with other students who are aspiring to a career in chemistry or chemical engineering.

I took a course on chemical safety and laboratory maintenance. I was introduced to the importance of chemical safety in a laboratory setting and how to manage hazards. As a part of the course, I attended the virtual lab visits.

As a part of the ACS Project SEED, I had the opportunity to present an audiovisual project about my independent research and data collection of the "Opioid Epidemic" in the US and its effect on the Indigenous Community. After presenting my research, I proposed a future research using "Magnet" to minimize pain in the human body.

I was selected as a highly selective "Tomorrow's Business Leader" program from the pool full New York City high schooler. Through this internship program, I had the opportunity to attend in the JP Morgan Chase office in Manhattan, NY. I was mentored by other JP Morgan employees.
