The Cloud Services Engineer is expected to be the expert in all matters. The ability to research problems and find solutions to any problem is paramount. The Cloud Services Engineer is expected to fill any roll needed by Technical Support whether it is customer facing needs, training of other support, or interfacing with Continued Product Development. The Cloud Services Engineer duties include but are not limited to the following;Provide Level 1 / 3 Support to VMware vCloud Air customers and field personnelProvide a high level of customer service at all timesManage, research, and resolve issues relating to VMware vCloud Air Provide consulting services to vCloud Hybrid Services customers as neededProvide Training to internal personnelMaintain a high level of proficiency in all VMware, Microsoft, and UNIX technologies.Work in a team environment and mentor junior techniciansRepresent VMware, its share holders, and its partners in only the most professional manner at all timesAny other duties or project as requested by the Manager/Senior Manager of Enterprise Applications or the Director of Global Support Services.

Work as part of a global team to drive and influence future product quality into Engineering cross-functional teams through:• Trend Analysis delivery to Engineering• Beta support planning and participation• Documentation review, including Engineering Functional Specs and KBs• Training review• Assist in identifying GSS Lab requirementsProvide technical leadership to guide product quality and supportability, as well as collaborate and communicate cross-organizationally.

Provide Level 1-2 Support for enterprise applications to VMware customers and field personnel- Work on high profile customer escalations- Provide a high level of customer service at all times- Manage, research, and resolve issues relating to enterprise applications- Provide Training to internal personnel- Maintain a level of proficiency in all VMware, Microsoft, and UNIX technologies.- Work in a team environment and mentor new technicians- Represent VMware, its shareholders, and its partners in only the most professional manner at all times- Document all technical inquiries; develop and review content for knowledgebase
