I started as a lab technician in an artificial heart research lab in college and have been in healthcare my entire adult life. I love being a perfusionist and having the opportunity to work with a highly trained group to save and better a life. There is nothing more exhilarating than seeing a heart beat on its' own after repair. I enjoy finding cutting edge techniques that can improve outcomes in the patients I serve and look forward to the improved technology coming our way.
