As the resident reporting expert, I write the data gathering stored procedures and design complex Crystal Reports against them. For the slow-running reports, I use multi-threading to show and hide a “please wait” window. As database administrator, I am responsible for data analysis and clean-up. This rapid development custom utility uses the 3-tier architecture. It creates the data tier and then stubs out the business tier. This allows the developer to quickly and easily take advantage of object orientation and lazy loading.While working for our client Brighton Associates (www.ba-usa.com), I was a "team-of-one" that was solely responsible for all aspects of a custom document management system Windows application written in VB.NET. The application's output contained critical instructions for creating and manufacturing pharmaceutical inventory. The application used interoperability with Microsoft Word and stored documents as XML text within a Microsoft SQL Server database.
