Launched a digital media & marketing company, which both produces original proprietary video content and helps businesses develop their own digital marketing strategies.Developed the “Nowhere Men” brand on Facebook and across all other social media platforms. As a lead producer, I developed project plans and conducted ~100 one-on-one interviews to produce 90 videos, made specifically for a Facebook audience.Performed market research to understand and target audience segments of the video content.Nowhere Men was invited to be a TV show on the Facebook Watch Tab, and has earned 220,000 Facebook followers and 32+ million views over 120+ videos.Expanded the company into a digital video consulting service to help companies, ranging from small shops to public companies, leveraging video on digital platforms to connect to their audience and to target specific customer segments.

Coordinated logistics for two road trips around the world, which I filmed and produced to be made into a travel television show, from London to Mongolia and NYC to Argentina, totaling 16 months, 32 countries, and 35,000+ miles.Worked with the post-production team to develop the ~400 hours of content into narrative, storytelling form, yielding 2 seasons (26 episodes) of television.Worked with NICA, a non-profit organization in Nicaragua, in an advisory role. I produced video assets that were used in a fundraising campaign, which generated $40,000 in donations to help expand its operations.

In my first year as a classroom teacher, I taught 32 first grade students all major subjects including reading, phonics, math, and writing. I implemented a tiered teaching approach to cater to students of varied levels, advancing 80% of students at least one grade level in reading & 33% at least two levelsIn my second year, I was the lead & solo math teacher to all 96 students in the second grade. I customized over 300 math lesson plans for students in under-resourced neighborhood school, resulting in a 25-point higher average score than overall network on the common core standardized assessment , placing as the highest scoring school. I was also selected by the AF Math Network Director to model successful strategies for all second grade math teachers. I facilitated discussion network-wide on the scope and sequence for the 2014-15 math curriculum. My innovative teaching structure and agenda was adopted by all network schools.Throughout my time at Achievement First, I engaged in professional development activities, including seminars, discussion groups, and workshops.

I consulted with ACLU lawyers in weekly meetings to determine which cases should be further pursued.In addition, I canvassed in Newark to inform citizens of their rights if questioned by police and visited police precincts to ensure they followed proper internal affairs procedures.
