If errors were found I take the actions to get them corrected. Revising and technically reviewing procedures as necessary for improved Human Factors consideration.

Palo Verde, being a zero liquid discharge facility (ZLD), managing the processing equipment to stay in compliance with all environmental and government (EPA / ADEQ / EPRI / NRC) is a large part of my responsibility. Palo Verde is one of very few stations which successfully operates their ZLD systems and remains in compliance. I directly supervised and trained a staff of 25 proficient operators. Optimized operation of equipment, through procedural enhancements. Responsibilities include scheduling of operations staff for shift coverage, outages, performance review and personnel scheduling for specialized (fork-lift, etc.) training in addition to scheduling of maintenance for all systems. Responsible for procedure writing, review and approval, permit and tagging technical reviews, and verification. Coordinated the work and resources in these areas during refueling outages to ensure that the work continued in timely manner.
