My role is delivering on the Sport England funded project the University Sports Activation Fund (USAF) project. Engaging with students, staff and community members to increase participation through various session and lesson based both on and off campus. Within this role I am responsible for tracking, updating and reporting participation and funding figures to sport England, recruiting, training and keeping volunteer student sports activators up to date, organising weekly sessions, lessons and one off event to meet participation figures, and also will be involved in bidding for the next set of funding for the university after USAF funding finishes in September 2017. Maintaining links with external partners is also important for my current role, with links established with various National governing bodies, local county sports partnerships, and local sports clubs

My role is to be part of delivery on all Tiger community, social inclusion, education programmes, these include, HITZ, Aviva Tackling Numbers, National Citizen Service Programme, FitStaff. As part of these programmes my responsibilities include organizing, set up and delivering sports related sessions. Working in partnership with youth groups, schools, colleges, and local agencies to encourage links in order to maximise the opportunities, increasing ongoing participation, and achievements of individuals involved. As well as identifying and following up potential opportunities to develop activities, and ongoing tigers initiatives.

My role is to contribute to the delivery of high quality sport and leisure services, ensuring that customers have a safe and enjoyable experience. I am expected to lead and support varied programmes of group classes, fitness interventions and sports programmes. Currently my main role is to support the use of the extensive sport facilities, and develop the membership of the purpose built fitness suite.

The challenges of delivering sessions to a wide variety of ages and abilities, whilst keeping track of the progression made is aided greatly by the successful communication, and team work displayed. When not teaching I was a chaperone for a female age division along with fellow English and American councillors. These roles helped me further develop my leadership and organizational skills. When appointed as Head of the boating, I took on the extra responsibilities such as organization of inter-camp competitions, maintenance of boating equipment, and also the responsibility for the other boating staff.
