Ehren Trost, MPT, ATC, Cert. MDT has been a physical therapist since 1997 and currently owns and operates his own practice, Activecare Physical Therapy LLC. Founded in September, 2012, Activecare Physical Therapy, LLC is a non-compromising practice of highly-skilled therapists, proven methods of treatment and respect for the needs of our patients. We emphasize patients being "active" in their recovery and provide the tools to remain better indefinately. We strive not only for recovery but prevention and avoidance of recurrence through self-treatment education. Mr. Trost graduated Summa Cum Laude from both from Gannon University (1997) with a Masters of Physical Therapy and from University of Pittsburgh, Main (1994) with a BS in Movement Science/Athletic Training where he spent 2400 hours working with the Division I sports teams. Ehren has worked diligently to place the practice of expert physical therapy in the forefront of management for musculoskeletal and spinal injuries. His philosophy is that a thorough history and physical exam followed by appropriate treatment will most often trump “techno medicine” and the reliance on expensive testing, imaging, surgery and pharmacologic interventions. Mr. Trost holds certification in the McKenzie Method which has enabled him to become extremely effective at treating most musculoskeletal complaints. Ehren has attended over 500 hours of post graduate courses in specialties such as the McKenzie Method, Mulligan Concept, Trigger Point Therapy, and various evidence based management courses of most body regions. Ehren has also hosted numerous post-graduate seminars over the last 11 years.
