SUMMARYFor eMDs to achieve healthcare interoperability, I helped them design, build, test, and deploy their HL7 and CCDA integration processes. The core functions were capabilities to send and receive various messages types from multiple 3rd party entities, parse messages and extract data into different systems, and finally be able to generate and export data in CCDA/HL7 format. The general process was first to discuss and document the business requirements and needs (e.g. patient matching logic, workflows, security concerns), then the development of REST APIs, HL7 generators and parsers, and new integration features for their Electronic Health Records web application. Oh, I also did some bug fixing for them, not for the glory, but to make the product the best it could be!HEALTH IT• Cloverleaf Integration Engine• NHapi• HL7 messaging (e.g. ADTs, DFTs, ORUs, SIUs, VXUs)• IHE PIX & XDS.b Profiles• CCD-ADEVELOPMENT TOOLS• Databases: SQL Server (i.e. table design, functions, stored procedures)• Frameworks: .NET (i.e. class libraries, object modeling, web API, web pages, windows services)• Programming Languages: C#, HTML (including Razor), CSS, JavaScript• Project Management: Microsfot Team Foundation• Servers: Microsoft IIS• Source Control: SVN• Other: RabbitMQ, Selenium, Webex
