Primary purpose of the job:- Develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in import/export activities and proceduresLiaises with:- Directors and Departmental Heads- Accounts Dept- Forwarders - Shipping Companies - Customs Brokers- Insurance Companies- Local TransportersPrincipal duties:• Responsible for planning transport routes and means by researching the best transportation means, routes and any special requirements in the handling and care of goods under transport• Ensures that goods are packaged appropriately, and negotiates contracts for transportation and handling• Oversees the delivery of goods in accordance with customer (Concerned Depts. In Zahid Group) specifications and ensures that deadlines are met• Manage the movement of products/equipment/materials in and/or out of the country in accordance with organizational policy and procedure, and to comply with relevant local, country and international law and process• Maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant import/export law and procedures; tariffs and duties; licenses and restrictions• Communicate with export and import and related authorities, and customers (Concerned Depts. In Zahid Group) and suppliers, in all relevant territories and countries, as necessary to ensure efficient, positive and lawful relations, support and activities• Anticipate research and report on future changes in import/export laws and in relevant local territory practices, and ensure such knowledge is factored into the planning of the department's own strategy, resources and proceduresKPIs/KPAs:- Degree of compatibility achieved pertinent to overall objectives and requirements of the Organization- Quantifiable economy and measurable efficiency achieved through selection of best transport means and routes- Adherence to the organization’s policies and procedures, KSA and international laws and processes

Primary purpose of the job:- Efficiently manage Department's day to day activitiesLiaises with:- Departmental Heads in Head Office and DirectorsPrincipal duties:• Managing the Import/Export department staff and their daily output• Responsible for providing high level of support and supervision of the Logistic team• Monitor daily shipments activities of the Logistic Dept• Overseeing workflow and work prioritization and by communicating directly with team• Researching and resolving operational problems• Follow up orders & shipments, accuracy of airway bills and shipping documents• Oversee performance of overseas third-party consolidators, including level of service, capacity, administrative, and contract compliance through leveraging new and existing report/feedback tools• Develop and recommend strategic options for third-party consolidator service provider selection through identifying/performing carrier performance, capacity, service, and pricing analysis• Analyze business needs and drive supply chain efficiencies that will improve lead-time and/or costs associated with overseas supply chain operations• Assist various departments in integrating Import/Export compliance requirements in work procedures responsible for deciding which Import/Export documents are required and the manner in which they are processed to insure proper customs clearance and regulatory compliance is carried out• Train new hires on departmental processes and procedures• Recommend Customs clearance brokers’ through identifying their market service performance, capacity, and pricing analysis• Oversee customs brokers’ performance and clearance lead timeKPIs/KPAs:- On-time clearance of all shipments without incurring demurrage- Adherence to processes/procedures, custom clearance and regulatory compliance- Cost-effectiveness, efficiency and expediency achieved in clearance lead times
