Managing tasks and projects

El Hady has over 16 years experience as a marine biologist and environmental specialist, with a particular background in environmental impact assessments, nature conservation, envi-ronmental monitoring and surveys for marine and terrestrial habitats, oil spill, environmental legislation, wetland and inland water, with a B.Sc in Zoology and two diplomas in Marine Ecology and Environmental Management. He has specific expertise in Marine, Coastal Zones, Terrestrial Ecology, and Environmental Management. Also, Mr. El Hady gained extra qualifications on the training course in Marine Mammals surveys, Wetland and coastal zone management, and environmental monitoring. Mr. El Hady is currently working as a senior marine ecologist at WorleyParsons. He is participating in environmental impact assessments, offshore surveys, monitoring programs and ecological assessments in Egypt, KSA and North Africa.

Participate in all environmental studies including and not limited to ESIA, ecological baseline surveys, environmental monitoring program and sampling for soil, seawater, sediment, active air, passive air, ambient noise, occupational noise, surface water, ground water and social surveys.

Ehsan was responsible for reviewing all the EIA's for the projects within and adja-cent to protected areas in the Gulf of Aqaba region. It more specifically involved setting-up appropriate procedures and guidelines for ensuring impacts remained acceptable, fol-lowing-up and giving permission to new development projects, license for any commercial activates inside the protectorate and its buffer zones.

Ehsan was working as an Environmental researcher and manager of Abu Galum protectorate; Ehsan was responsible for all management activities within the protectorate including planning, law implementation, enforcement of regulations, day to day management and participated in most of the baseline studies for both marine and terrestrial habitats including fauna, flora and underwater surveys for marine biota (off-shore and inshore) in the Gulf of Aqaba
