CurrentSince 2018 I have launched a start-up within 'Daru Darman Persia' in order to design and produce a Gas-Powered Resuscitator. A kind of respiratory device that provides temporary ventilation and is also used for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). I was facing with several problems at first. The operation of an entirely pneumatic device may seem simple but everything becomes different in action. However, since i love being challenged, these obstacles just made me more eager for work.As the first step, a R&D team was formed. Then the internal parts and body parts of the device were designed using CAD. Prototyping of metal parts were performed through two mini CNC machines, a lathe and a milling one. The body parts also were prototyped via FDM 3D-printing.Once the performance tests on the prototype device were implemented successfully, modifying and finalizing the design was begun. Afterwards, some specialists were found to perform the mass-production of the designed parts. In final step, we had to pass 'safety & performance' tests according to harmonized standards. Also, clinical evaluations had to be done due to device classifications which all lasted about 9 months. Eventually we achieved the production license after about three years and now, we are proudly presenting “EasyVent” to health facilities.In this enterprise i was not only the R&D manager but also the technical supervisor, executive manager, mechanical technician, and the purchasing officer.At the moment, I am working on new ideas to produce various models of the device while supervising the production line of “EasyVent”.
