About Ehsan Hashemi
I am a Molecular Biologist; I have worked in different disciplines from stem cells to in vivo studies, and from university to industry. I have an experience of 10 years working in a transgenic core facility where we genetically manipulated the mouse embryos by some genome editing tools like CRISPR/Cas9 system to generate some knock-in and knock -out mice. I have worked with biomaterials; we try to use functionalized biomaterials for either tissue engineering and differentiate stem cells and also use them as gene carriers.Zist Azma Arya Vision (ZAAV) is a biotesting accredited company which does in vitro and in vivo tests for biomaterials, drugs, and biological samples. I was CEO and co-founder of ZAAV.Now in my postdoctoral I am developing some tissue specific carriers for gene therapy applications.
