Management Analyst
CurrentConduct research and analytical studies on a variety of programs and issues to present up-to-date statistics in periodic performance review reports.• Coordinate and expedite processes from departmental input.• Identify potential business roadblocks. Elicit requirements using workflow analysis, interviews,requirements workshops, business process descriptions, surveys, management analysis, task and document analysis.• Undertake and review work studies by analyzing existing and proposed methods & procedures (administrative/clerical).• Prepare and recommend proposals to revise methods and procedures, alter work flows, redefine job functions and resolve organizational problems. Make recommendations to Director through presentations or written reports.• Assist in implementing approved recommendations, issuing revised instructions and proceduremanuals, and drafting relevant documentation.• Direct the preparation of oral and written reports for management surveys, including recommendations to appropriate officials for needed changes and improvements.• Manage the revenue cycle operations, overseeing billing, coding, collections, and patient account management.• Develop and implement revenue cycle strategies to improve overall financial performance, resulting in a significant increase in net revenue.• Oversee the implementation of new revenue cycle technologies, including electronic health records (EHR) and revenue cycle management (RCM) software.• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid.• Provide regular staff training on billing and coding best practices and compliance with healthcare regulations.• Accurately enter patient demographics, charge entries, and payment postings into the billing system, ensuring timely and accurate billing and payment processing.• Coordinate with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate claims submission and payment
