Subsequently a conference named: New Ideas for Afghanistan (NIFA) was organized and led by an Afghan entrepreneur in Germany, Khalid Ahmad Dayani, which was mainly supported by AIESEC Frankfurt.Subsequent to that, a group of 12 local Afghan and German students initiated the AIESEC Afghanistan project at Kabul University with full support of AIESEC Germany.In 2005: AIESEC Afghanistan got the extension-country status at IPM-Bucharest 2005.In 2007: AIESEC Afghanistan got full-membership status at IPM-Cairo 2007.
