I have over 20 years of rich experience in the humanitarian and development sectors with a focus on education, in a range of positions, from community work level to senior project management and coordination, with different organizations (UN, NGOs, government). My experience in the education sector and training in Strategic Planning in Education from UNESCO’s International Institute for Educational Planning have provided me with a sound foundation to plan, design and manage education related plans and programmes/projects, and to play key coordination roles. In my current capacity as education officer in UNICEF’s Education Section team in Islamabad, I am the coordinator of the Education Sector Working Group (ESWG) at national level, and I also coordinate the ECW funded Multi-Year Resilience Programme (MYRP), as well as the Refugees Response Plan. I have also successfully supported Education Cluster coordination and Information Management in previous posts.
