I am a Computer Science graduate (2021) from the University of Melbourne with skills in a variety of programming languages (Python, C++, C, C#, Java, Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, SQL, HLSL) and frameworks (Next.js, React and Material-UI). I have a good understanding of software testing concepts (unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, mocking, spying), software testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress), object oriented principles, design patterns, software design concepts, algorithms, agile development, and project management tools like Jira and Confluence.I have spent the past year doing full stack work on a blog website I created, which has greatly enhanced my Web Development skills. The website is built on React (frontend) and Node.js (backend), and features blog creation, viewing of blogs created by others, authentication (using JWT), Google and Facebook sign in, and more. It is heavily tested, using automated Jest testing. With the skill improvements that I have made during this project, I believe that I can jump right into a full stack role.Finally, with over 6 years of experience as a pharmacy assistant, working face-to-face with a variety of coworkers and customers, I have significantly developed my skills with respect to working with other people (cooperating with coworkers and working as a team, resolving workplace conflicts, communicating effectively and dealing with displeased customers), as well as general workplace skills such as managing my tasks effectively and completing them in an appropriate and timely manner.
