Alsharqi is developing a state of the art CMMS software (Named Erohal) for fleet management.Scope of my role:My main role is to virtually oversee the in-house maintenance operations of Al Sharqi's fleet. Recently, I am also supervising Alsharqi's Track and trace project which involves configuration and installation of GPS devices on Alsharqi's trucks, reefers and trailers.My roles and responsibilities include following:-Oversee Corrective maintenance of Al Sharqi's fleet.-Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities of equipment.-Identify inefficiencies in current repair planning, execution and recommend cost effective maneuvers-Supervise breakdowns and emergency repairs on sites.-Strive to strictly follow the preventive maintenance plans to minimize equipment down times.-Diagnose truck engine and subsystem faults, calibrate and modify engine parameters using Jaltest.-Oversee configuration and installation of GPS devices, fuel, temperature and humidity sensors on Alsharqi's fleet.-Coordinate with development team to eliminate inefficiencies in Erohal CMMS-Analyze Maintenance KPIs and report the workshop activity to fleet director on daily basis.Tools I use to expedite maintenance/repair activities:-Erohal(for Fleet maintenance), MS Excel(for reporting).-Wialon for telematics and fleet monitoring.-MS Teams, Outlook, for virtual meetingsMy communications & collaboration pools:-Workshop crew (Drivers, mechanics, electricians, body/paint workers and procurement staff)-Software developer team-Telematics service providers-Management: Fleet director and Erohal Manager Show less
