Responsibilities:Preparing inquiry documents about commercial standards, technical specification, BOQ’s and Drawings, as per Project Requirements. Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with selected suppliers, price and technical specifications.Responsible for maintaining the Project Procurement Plan up to date.Review technical Specification, BOQ (Bill of Quantity) and Drawings to determine suitable vendors & suppliers.Responsible for draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute contracts and agreements with suppliers/Vendors.Responsible to establish long term agreements for assigned categories. Responsible to Negotiate commercial terms.Finalizing the Materials & Suppliers & follow up for Submittal Submission.Project cost reduced by choosing right system / equipment's for projects.Negotiation & Selection of Sub-Contractors for Installation with best rates.Responsible for maintaining accurate records of purchases and pricing.Responsible for Procurement Strategy for items that are included under the Warranty & Guarantee aspect of the Contract Conditions.Estimation:Review the tender documents (Drawings + Specification + Bill of Quantities) and ensure that all data required for pricing are available.Prepare technical queries such as, details, missing documents pertaining to the tender.Arranging for and attending site visits, prepare detailed visit report and attending clarification meetings with client (if required).Send inquiries to the specified/non-specified suppliers for materials & equipment.Follow up and receive quotation from various suppliers.Evaluate the supplier quotations against the tender requirements. Make comparative analysis of all quantities.Arrange to get the quantity take-off from the drawings according to the project.Prepare the BOQ for final submission to the Client.Prepare value engineering proposals (on client demand).Revise the costing for the post tender clarifications received.
