Ehtiram Jabi, born in 1996 and raised in Baku, Azerbaijan, is a photographer and visual artist. His early passion for art, particularly photography, was sparked during his youth.In 2014, his involvement in the Yarat Summer School with Magnum Photography, led by Thomaz Dworzak and Chien-Chi Chang, alongside photographer David Montgomery, significantly influenced his perception of photography and propelled his professional development in this art form.Notably, Ehtiram Jabi served as a speaker and participant in the 2015 exhibition "Friendship of the Peoples" in Moscow. That same year, he earned the Azerbaijan Photographers Union Award "Hope," recognizing him as a promising photographer. In 2017, he successfully completed his first comprehensive photo project, "Polio."Currently employed as a full-time photojournalist at Report News Agency, Ehtiram Jabi has collaborated with various international media outlets such as Reuters, Associated Press, Bird in Flight, Blink Media, and SNS Group. Additionally, he holds the position of one of YARAT's resident artists, engaging in collaborations with ARTIM Project Space and curating exhibitions on diverse social and art-related topics. His works have been featured in group exhibitions in Russia and Georgia across different years.
