About Emily H.

As the business environment continues to evolve, organizations are tasked with adapting or failing. Too often, organizations choose to undertake costly infrastructure projects, endure risks with new business lines, or go through monumental restructuring while neglecting to invest in their most critical asset: their employees. Simply ensuring employees have the right skills to perform competently now and into the future can allow organizations to be better poised to navigate these turbulent times--a much smaller monetary investment with less risk than the aforementioned activities. Leveraging the principles of design thinking, I work with my clients to build capability models for their organizations, strategize how to close their most critical skills gaps, and develop the internal conditions to make the vision of a more competent and engaged workforce a reality. I have a B.A. with dual majors in Sociology and American Studies from Smith College and an M.B.A. with specializations in Organizational Behavior and Social Sector Management from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Listed skills include Mathematics, Conflict Management, Consulting, Pools, and 151 others.
