I worked at McDonald's the summer previous and when I came back, I was promoted to manager. As manager, I would be in charge of running the store during my scheduled shift. This was usually from 3-8 and would include the after school and dinner rush. During my time as manager, I learned how to count and deposit money, follow food safety policies, and lead my crew. Leading my crew taught me the importance of knowing people's strengths and using them accordingly. This was especially important since we were almost always understaffed during my shift and every person needed to do as much as possible.
