 Manufacture of sterile human tissue allograft material in an FDA/TGA regulated facility, including cortico-cancellous crunch, bone shafts/splints, soft tissue grafts. Developing methodologies and SOP’s for the manufacture of new sterile products and new product validation. Completing in-house quality control including environmental monitoring and microbial testing of in-process and finished materials, managing the intake/storage/use/disposal of human donor tissue and stock, new product development (eg. Demineralised Bone Matrix, freeze dried cortico-cancellous crunch). Carrying out internal audits and preparing the laboratory for external FDA annual audit. Attending conferences on new developments in tissue banking. Equiptment validation and maintenance: band saw, pneumatic saw, bone mills, BSC nad LFC fume hoods, incubators, waterbaths, SCO2 steriliser, freeze dryer, -80 freezers.

 Manufacture of sterile injections/solutions (including testosterone/progesterone/B12 injections, eye drops) in a seperate dedicated clean room. Compounding perscribed nutritional products, pharmaceutical compounds, hormones products and cosmetics (non-sterile). Coordinating the workflow within the lab, supervising 3 other employees, training new staff members, product management. Readying the facility for TGA audits, developing new SOPS, attending PCCA conferences. Laboratory skills: Sterile manufacturing, product development, stock management, equiptment maintenance and validation (incubators, autoclave, LFC fume hoods)
