My career uniquely combines excellence as a cardiac anesthesiologist, entrepreneur, and business visionary. I started Sound Physicians Anesthesia and over a three year period grew it to a 800 provider practice across the country. August 2023 I chose to depart in pursuit of future ventures. Previously, I founded NorthStar Anesthesia, P.A., where I presided over explosive growth with solid market and financial performance. Starting with one hospital-based contract in 2004, I helped build NorthStar to a $500M+ company with a client base in 21 states (180 facilities) and more than 2,000 providers.I graduated from the Duke University School of Medicine and received board certifications in internal medicine, critical care, and anesthesia from UT Southwestern, the NIH, and UCSF. My clinical and business experience has enabled me to develop and maintain professional relationships with C-level executives of large health systems, strategic corporate development with B2B partnerships, and clinical thought leadership through speaking and teaching engagements across the nation.
