Independent guidance on fluorine-free foam and AFFF I am an expert for firefighting foam, specialising in all aspects of the phase-out of AFFF and the transition to fluorine-free foam. I am Managing Director of the engineering consultancy E.P.FIRE. We plan fire suppressions systems with a special focus on foam extinguishing systems. I have worked for more than 13 years as a deputy fire chief for an industrial fire service. I am also chairing the working group on firefighting foam of the WFVD, the German Industrial Firefighters organization.
