Eileen Buser oversees all planning, organizing and execution of Major League Baseball’s corporate hospitality events. Events include the MLB All-Star Gala, MLB All-Star Pre-Game Celebration, World Series VIP Receptions, ballpark hospitality events and all other MLB hospitality, including client hospitality at the MLB FanCave. Oversees the bid process on all events, negotiates contracts and manages relationships with musical artists, hotels, caterers, event spaces, production companies and vendors.Buser oversees all aspects of hotel selection, site selection and meeting planning, including contract negotiations, food and beverage, and manages events team as well as outside independent contractors for approximately 50 meetings annually, including MLB’s 1,200 attendee Industry Meetings.Buser joined MLB in 1984 as a legal secretary and spent 7 years in the Office of the Commissioner’s legal department working on intellectual property, licensing agreements and other day-to-to responsibilities for the General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel. She was promoted in May 1991 to Special Events Coordinator at Major League Baseball Properties and began her career in special events, reporting to Marla Miller. Buser is a member of ISES and WISE and continues to be inspired by the amazing creativity of our event team, as well as our event management companies, restaurants, designers and other innovative partners that help make Major League Baseball a leader in the sports entertainment industry. Buser currently resides in Garden City, NY with her family.
