About Eileen Croghan, Rn, Mba

As an RN, MBA with 10+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, I have always been interested in how to care respectfully and compassionately for patients while delivering the highest quality of service. Bedside nursing allowed me to impact one patient at a time, however being able to make decisions that would impact not just one patient’s care but an entire facility’s or system’s patients led me to leadership positions. As a leader, I could impact the quality of care, develop solutions to problems, operationalize strategies, and collaborate with clinical and non-clinical leaders. In my roles as a Director of Quality and Operations, I have never been afraid of rolling up my sleeves to help or understand what the problem or situation is. I have often worked with senior leadership to put a new program in place or expanded a program using small test of change strategies as necessary. I am innovative and self-directed. I review company goals and effectuate changes in the direction of expected end-result. Working across departments and/or facilities, I determine best practices to “move the needle” in the appropriate direction and hold people accountable. Once a problem is identified, the fix can begin. Variance reports and deep dives are frequent requests to get a positive end-result. Efficiency in all aspects of the business is vital to keep business robust and profitable. Delivering results on time and on budget is important to me. I am respected by colleagues and stakeholders for my honesty, positive attitude, creative problem-solving skills and persistence to get the job done.
