As a Sr. E-Business Analyst I am responsible for the on-boarding, maintenance and support of various Logistics/Supply Chain EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) documents between Best Buy and our Vendor and Carrier partners. In my role I manage both the technical (EDI) aspects and the business (data integrity) processes. The technical portion ensures that the Vendor or Carrier is transmitting documents as written by Best Buy document specs; the business portion ensures the data contained within the transmission is accurate. I am also responsible for the following:- Subject Matter Expert (SME) on special projects. Act as the change agent for internal and external customers in designing, troubleshooting and implementing EDI Supply Chain solutions and/or communication issues.- Manage, troubleshoot and monitor production issues and provide solutions for all for both internal and external customers.- Serve on various industry committees and/or standards bodies to foster E-Business/Supply Chain knowledge and participate in industry standards development- SSCC barcode and labeling compliance- Document specific creation of implementation guides and document mapping - Carrier SCAC ODW (data warehouse) updates
