I have been with PNC since March 2004 and have been the VP of Training, Development and Quality Control, Business Credit (Asset Based Lending) for the past three years. I conduct all of the in-house Asset Based Lending training for the Business Credit Field Exam Group for all new hires and am part of the recruiting/hiring committee. Also, I coordinate research on emerging issues that may impact collateral and collateral testing. I examine various lending scenarios to determine if we can change or improve testing and analysis to match the ever changing business needs. The fun part of this job is that I write and produce various innovative multi-media training tools such as short movies, pod casts, and webinars to meet the challenge of getting necessary information to the larger Business Credit Group in an effective yet entertaining manner. Occasionally, I still conduct field exams for training purposes or when unusual collateral or an unusual industry is involved.
