Spearheaded human resources generalist functions for a 350 + employee operation. Managed a broad range of HR functions including Benefits/Payroll Administration (ADP and Paychex), HRMS Database Administration, HR Policies & Procedures, Team Building/Morale Building, Associate Counseling, Legal Issues & Compliance, Confidential Record Keeping, Staff Recruitment & Retention, Associate Development & Training, and Disciplinary procedures

The function of my position was to maximize the sales potential for all assigned accounts and prospects. Two of my accounts were the top grossing in the company. Some of my responsibilities include preparing contracts and proposals, assisting clients in developing their budgets, marketing and sales plans and developing a monthly status report detailing financial and operational activity that occurred throughout the month. Earned Employee of the Month for July of 1999.

I began as a part time Sales associate and progressed to manager of the Women’s department. Some of my responsibilities included personnel relations, customer relations, merchandising and inventory control. My department had a gross revenue of $3,500,000.00 and 25 associates. I also participated in the opening of the Rego Park store, which included screening, interviewing and hiring store staff. One of the special assignments I led was to coordinate training programs for the Sales associates which resulted in their increased value to the company as well as preparing them to undertake greater responsibility in the future.
