My mission with the new stage show "Breast In Show" is to create a movement of people galvanized and committed to eradicating Breast Cancer in our lifetimes.We can, We must, and We will!Between 2009 and 2010 I interviewed more than 200 patients, their families and medical personnel who have been touched by this awful disease. I wanted to create a 90 minute musical that would give voice to Breast Cancer that people could identify with and that audiences would be educated, entertained and empowered. The premier of the show was October 2011. Nationally known composer and lyricist Joan Cushing created the 12 songs and Off-Broadway playwright LIsa Hayes created the book. Kathryn Chase Bryer a Helen Hayes multiple time winner further developed and directed the premier. None of the 4 women who have been involved as the core creators is a breast cancer survivor.
