EILEEN F. MORRISON has practiced solely in the field of immigration and nationality law since 1990. She represents domestic and multinational corporations, educational institutions, research institutions and hospitals as well as arts organizations in connection with devising complex, long-term institutional immigration strategies and obtaining visas for professionals, managers, executives, researchers, health professionals and performing and fine artists from all over the world. She serves as a frequent panelist at immigration conferences at the local, regional and national level. An active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since 1990, Ms. Morrison served on AILA’s New England Chapter Executive Board, serving as Chapter Chair from 2000-2001. She is currently a member of the AILA National ACES (Athletics, Culture, Entertainment, and Science) Committee. She has previously served on the AILA National Texas Service Center, California Service Center,Texas Service Center, and the Distance Learning Committees and is a past member of the AILA National Board of Governors, She has authored numerous articles on business immigration law including several in the Immigration Practice Manual, published by the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education Institute in 2004 and updated in 2011 and 2014. Eileen Morrison graduated from Boston University School of Law where she was a winner of the Homer Albers Moot Court Prize. She also graduated cum laude from Boston University with a B.A. in English.She is a Past President of the Board of The Second Step, a nonprofit offering supportive services to adults and child survivors of domestic violence. She was a member of the Executive Committee of the Board from 2004-2011. She is a member of ProVisors.Prior to founding her own practice, Ms. Morrison was Counsel to Palmer & Dodge LLP and was an Associate with Sullivan & Worcester LLP in Boston.
