Job Responsibilites :- Working within the R&D department (residing in the Singapore facility representing the wafer product design UK/US), I am responsible for new product integration involving product specification optimization and margin studies through comprehensive data analytics.- Involved in customers quality issues, failure root cause and manage corrective action through collaboration various design centres and manufacturing facilities.- Work on product/component data analysis, Design of Experiment, assessing product performance, identifying design gaps and provding feedback to design team for design/process changes to meet product performance and quality.- Transforming infrastructure of knowledge, data analytic tools and processes into Asia factories.- Coordinate and chair weekly meetings between design centres on product status update and issues.Key Achievement :- Consistently achieved exceeded expectation performance in yearly appraisal and awarded numerous Recognition Rewards for projects.- Obtained very good feedback from team members of the various department I worked with, on the excellent support provided to them.- Achieved meeting drive design performance, drive yield and quality stretch goals.- Knowledge transfer of new Head Perpendicular Head Recording technology and successful product transfer from US to Asia meeting Time to Market/Volume and Quality.- Lead the Product Performance Engineering team for Notebook product.

Main Responsibilites : - Sole responsibiltiy in providing pre and post sales technical & failure analysis suport (both off and on-site) which includes technical training/advise to sales and technical staffs from local, regional offices and top OEM customers on system integration and design issues. OEMs includes Apple, Dell, Compaq, IBM, HP, Samsung and Gateway in Asia Pacific.- Collaborate closely with sales on design-win of products to potential customers- Correpond closely with global Field Applications, Sales, R&D and Product Management on new product launches and customer qualification requirements including development of new product SKU and product localization.- Work closely with worldwide customer quality engineering and manufacturing in driving for root cause findings, containment and corrective action via 8D for all customer quality failures and issue.- Driectly involved in on-site audits both at customers and internal factory sitesKey achievements :- Achieved exceeded expectation performance and among the top 5% awarded with the company's stock option - Consistent achievement of 90% rating of customer satisfaction on technical support- Assigned as a Program manager to lead a one-time-off project from design-win to customer's product launch and mass production- Gained insight, understanding and managing cultural work differences in the course of work.
