Under the direction of the President, support’s the President’s Office concerning a wide range of institutional initiatives, programs, projects and events as assigned/designated. The position will provide reports, counsel and recommendations. This position will serve as the Presiden’t liaison to internal and external partners, including members of the President’s Leadership Team, and others, for the purpose of ensuring that key projects are progressing smoothly to completion. This position reviews various agreements and contracts in conjunction with the Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration, including the development, promulgation and implementation of internal and external articulation agreements in support of the President’s goals. Provides leadership, research and reports on Special Projects, and grant related initiatives in support of the college’s mission and vision as assigned.

I am responsible for the maintenance and creation of new and existing articulation agreements between the college and our various academic partners at area high schools and domestic and international senior colleges and universities . Currently working on several special projects including the implementation of Guided Pathways, writing the application for and winning one of 10 national spots in the Pathways to Credentials Technical Assistance Opportunity and working to institute a more effectively leveraged Prior Learning/Competence Based Education model to meet the needs of local Workforce Development. Provided leadership for all activities related to Academic Assessment for general education, course level, program evaluation, and writing across the curriculum. Worked closely with the Executive Director of Institutional Planning, Effectiveness and Compliance. Provided over site for the implementation of a new embedded method of general education/writing across the curriculum assessment utilizing the AAC&U Value Rubrics, and a newly formed Assessment Day. Worked closely with the Director of the Perkins Grant and Curriculum Compliance to help ensure new program development and new/revised courses met the standards for assess-ability. Worked with the Deans, Exec. Director of Academic Success, Advising and Continuing and Professional Education to develop and promulgate all articulations between the college and the high school/vocational school for dual enrollment program, non-credit to credit bridging and for domestic and our first international partnerships in Egypt.

My responsibilities included working with area superintendents to develop dual enrollment opportunities for high school students, over sight for all off campus operations (credited classes at area high schools in the evenings) and the Southern Education Center. Responsible to select and schedule courses to be offered at off site locations, provide administrative liaison between the college and the high school sites. Additional, provided administrative over site for Advanced Placement Summer Institutes and Alternate Route Teaching in conjunction with New Jersey City University. Responsible for the development and promulgation of all academic articulations for dual enrollment programs with the area high schools and vocational school and senior institutions.
