My particular skill is linking corporations and their key competencies with community needs for great impact. At the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that involves directing our key assets, the skills and knowledge of a professional sports team regarding health and wellness, into our community of Tampa Bay. It also involves representing the Bucs throughout the community with a focus on youth, military and women's issues.We have launched 21 Buccaneers Academies in the past 12 months which reach 12,000 students and support 850 teachers at under-resourced public elementary schools. These schools have deep partnerships with the Bucs, our players, our front office staff and all aspects of our company. In my role I also oversee the activities of the Glazer Family Foundation, particularly in regards to our Vision Mobile program that has dispensed close to 6,000 pairs of glasses to school children in need throughout the Tampa Bay region.
