Fairtrade and organic certified sugar farmers' co-operative • Cultivated relationships with clients in various countries to market organic and Fairtrade certified sugar, molasses and sesame• Co-ordinated key stakeholders in the co-operative’s project to build its own organic sugar processing factory. Developed documentation and interpreted communications between financial backers in Europe, consultants in the US and plant manufacturers in India • Compiled data on impact of Fairtrade at the co-operative, including interviews with farmers. Gave presentations on Fairtrade to the farmers as part of educational programmes• Participated in organic and Fairtrade inspections, preparing documentation and taking part in interviews to demonstrate compliance with the standards

• Wrote public communications materials depicting key producer organisations and their experience of Fairtrade, by compiling information from various sources, some in French • Translated sensitive documentation from English to Spanish

• Designed, delivered and evaluated a project to communicate with producer stakeholders in 48 countries through a newsletter in electronic and hard copy format and in three languages• Collated and analysed data on producer organisations for key performance indicators, monitoring and evaluation, reporting on funding and public communications• Accompanied visiting producers on tour around the UK. As the key producer contact in the organisation, co-ordinated all staff contact with producer partners, to ensure strong relationships, efficient information-sharing and minimal burden on producers• Represented the team in a cross-organisational project to design an automated traceability system for Fairtrade supply chains
