I have 24+ years working in the financial services industry, with the last 8+ years spent working as a Scrum Master in multiple cross-functional teams. I moved to the Scrum Master role early in Aviva’s Agile journey, and was the Scrum Master that ran the pilot for moving from more traditional waterfall methodologies to Agile for the multi-million pound Guidewire project whose delivery scaled in excess of twelve teams running over 7 years. Following on from this project I have also successfully delivered other large scale complex mandatory projects such as the Retirement Outcome Review project (circa £5 million) which involved multiple internal and external companies making deliveries within FCA regulated timescales and specifications.During my time as Scum Master I have helped the company progress their Agile maturity from its infancy to creating more self-organising pro-active teams that are able to deliver working solutions in the most efficient way possible.
