As the owner of Harrington Consulting, I have over 22 years of experience in providing development, start-up, board development and management, operations, donor cultivation and fundraising skills for nonprofits, small businesses and/or educational institutions. In addition to social justice and the environment, I bring a keen interest in human and animal welfare, multi-religious/spiritual organizations. I use my extensive graduate education and professional skills to assist organizations and their people to fulfill their missions and reach their yearly goals and objectives.Finally, I bring creativity and innovation to nonprofit organizations coupled with a commitment to a culture of trauma informed-DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging) as well as staff, volunteer and client empowerment. I bring a over a decade of full time, director level nonprofit experience having founded and managed a homeless youth shelter, homeless youth multiservice program, directed programming for Boys and Girls Clubs of King County and worked as a contracts manager for the City of Seattle in Family and Youth Services. Most recently, I provided operations manager services to St. Mary's Center as well as managed the assessment and closing of Meiklejohn Civil Liberties Center as its executive director.Some of my current and past clients include the National Economic Education Delegation, Duo Duo Animal Welfare Project, Goatlandia Farm Animal Sanctuary and Education Center, Factory Farming Awareness Coalition, Farm Sanctuary, Palomacy Pigeon and Dove Rescue, and the Theological Roundtable on Ecological Ethics and Spirituality. I am also the co-founder of the Northern California Farm Animal Sanctuaries Alliance, which provides pro bono services to farm animal sanctuaries in the region.
