Responsible for the growth and stability of Pentec’s renal clinical programs that are offered to clinicians in the U.S. These programs provide continuing education credits and provide information to enhance clinician practice and are presented by nationally recognized experts in renal nutrition and related topics in renal disease in a variety of settings. Achievements: --Inventor of Proplete®, Pentec Health’s proprietary Intradialytic Parenteral Nutrition (IDPN) formulations.--Served as Chair and Co-Chair of A.S.P.E.N. Renal Section. --Recipient of the 2008 ASPEN Recognition Award from New Product Development Think Tank for contributions to Professional Nutrition Support Education. --Published author of several articles in peer reviewed journals including: Nutrition in Clinical Practice; Infusion Nursing Journal; and Support Line. Co-author for the chapter on Renal Disease for the ASPEN Nutrition Support Core Curriculum: A Case Based Approach -- The Adult Patient in 2007; and contributed as a special section content reviewer of the Malnutrition Chapter in the Pocket Guide to Nutrition Assessment of the Patient with Chronic Kidney Disease, 4th edition. --Reviewer for a chapter on enteral nutrition in kidney disease in A Clinical Guide to Nutrition Care in Kidney Disease second edition, 2013.

Responsible for the supervision of 4 renal dietitians in care of nutrition management and education to dialysis patients in 4 clinics and also providing nutrition care for dialysis patients in 2 clinics. Responsible for continuous quality improvement aspects related to renal nutrition outcomes and development of several policies and procedures with the Director of Nursing. Achievements:--Presented administration policy for IDPN at the renal section meeting of ASPEN. --Developed renal rotation guidelines to participate with Kent State University for the precepting of dietetic students at Hillmed Dialysis Centers to meet ADA requirements.

Serviced multiple companies including Fresenius Medical Care, Home Intensive Care, and Davita, and consulted to several home care infusion companies.

Responsible for the nutrition assessment and education of patients with various clinical diagnoses with a specialty in assessment of nutrition support interventions for critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care unit. Achievements:Participated on numerous committees related to formulary, quality assurance, education and participated on research projects within the department of Nutrition and with the departments of Gastroenterology which resulted in accepted abstracts at AGA, ADA and ASPEN.
